The Wedding Arch

Salam there..

Thinking of using a wedding arch? You're not alone — for many brides, they serve as an indispensable grace note when it comes to getting married in a garden or park, in a spacious backyard or by the sea, even in front of main door of bride's house.

Indeed, wedding arch is among english wedding but now it becomes popular among Malay bridal..Especially using English wedding theme.

There are several different types of arch and little bit tips on how to add 'wow'factor on your wedding arch.Check it out!

The Classic Arch

Soften the hard bones of your arch by draping it in gauzy base material (tulle, organza) and silk garlands of ivy (or real grape vines). Now accent with a large silk bow, a pomander ball or "kissing ball" -- which you can make yourself if you're willing to use silk roses -- or a traditional grouping of flowers at the top.Or for a little more oomph, use the rule of three: one flower arrangement for the top, and at least one at each base. DIY-ers are probably best off sticking to silk, or at least using potted flowers at the base.

The Gothic Arch

Use a simple black arch that rises to a dramatic point and leave the lines clean and unadorned -- or attach dried curly willow for a downright spooky touch. Hang an enormous floral kissing ball from the apex.

The Balloon Arch

Don't forget this dramatic, pearly alternative to the wood or metal arch. A determined bride (or family member) can definitely do this herself; helium isn't even required if you use PVC or can suspend microfilament from the ceiling. Just keep in mind it's best to build the arch the day of the wedding, and essential to build it within hours of the ceremony if you use helium-filled balloons. I'm sure this type of wedding arch is rarely used by bride but if its beautify and decorate wisely, perhaps it could be beautiful wedding arch, isn't it?

The Woodsy Arch

Add some unexpected texture by strapping young apple or willow branches to the sides of your arch. Or instead of a fabric or ivy base, attach garlands of ferns.

The Tropical Palm Arch

Dressed entirely in palm tree fronds, the tropical arch creates a sharp, dramatic and slightly masculine silhouette. This simple but striking approach is perfect for the handy Do It Yourself. Suitable on the beach wedding, plus it maybe cost saving, huh?

The All-Floral Arch
Dripping from top to toe in greenery and roses, the all-floral arch is the kind of formal living sculpture seen in cavernous churches. The greens and blooms in this arch seem to float on air, with the flowers appearing immensely heavy (they are) and the arch insubstantial. The all-floral arch is definitely a job for the pro -- grand and expensive. The most wanted by all brides.Feeling like in the fairytales wedding, right?

How To Choose A Wedding Photographer

You have a beautiful wedding dress and great bridal dais.Everything is perfect, now only one left- a perfect photographer.

Choosing the perfect photographer for the wedding has always been like cook as a chef. We never quite know who we are getting or how good they are. We don't know what can go wrong.Once the wedding preparation is done, the photos or video are the only record of your important day. It is a one shot deal with no UNDO button.

Here some tips may help us to choose a weeding photographer.

First step:

Thanks to technology,we able to google up the photographers' blog online without hassle ourself.Ask friends for wedding photographer referrals.Determine whether you like the posed formal style or creative with different angle or do you prefer the photographer who get amazing portraits and real emotion ( taking the moment of photo as well).Choose 3 photographer taht whose work you and schdule an appointment or phone consultation with each.

Second step:

Meet with photographers. Here you have opportunity to ask them important questions like: their pricing,do they have wedding package, can i take formal photos before my wedding? How many photos will i get?Do you carry backup equipment?Do you have backup person in case you become ill or on emergency circumstance? etc etc..This sound might be indicate we are fussy but as a customer,we have right to know what kind of service they are offered. As we know, the photographer's price quite expensive but we have to bear our mind that their charges includes camera equipment cost, photographer's skill, the time to spend, service after shoot and material cost (album cover /sticky cover/ photo paper)

Third step:

If you already choose the photographer and do book them early.Make it 6 months before your wedding date. One important question in this part - Is there chemistry between us and the photographer?Do i like their personality? Regardsless, if the photographer is the best photographer in the world ; if you have no chemistry,do not hire them. Remember your wedding photographer will be following you around for most of the day and you don't want to ruin your own wedding with a wedding photographer who you do not get along with.

My friend have experienced with unfriendly photographer during her engagement day.Truly, this photographer is a friend of hers and the photographer is doing part-time bridal photography as side income. The charges was cheap, approximately RM200 (for engagement). The problem arose when my friend received her photo album. The outcome really devastating and beyond her expectation. My friend managed to make complaint on her (as she had no chance to choose her own best engagement photos before it was printed out) but the photographer was too defensive. However, my friend paid in full amount and she will never recommend that photographer to anyone due to her bad service!

When it comes to wedding photographer meet with them based on skill and photos BUT choose your wedding photographer based on personality.
